Day-01: Mandalay-Kyaukse-Mandalay (L/D) (18th Oct 2013)
Arrive at Mandalay International Airport. Welcome by a tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Upon arrival, drive to
· Kyauk-se Elephant Dancing Festival, located 42km south of Mandalay to see one of the famous festivals in Myanmar. The occasion take two days and one day before the full moon day of THADINKYUT and on the Full moon day as well, This elephant dance is the festival for the reclining Buddha image in Kyaukse and could be called the activity of the Pagoda Festival.
Lunch at local restaurant and enjoy the festival activities. In the late afternoon, return to Mandalay City and dinner and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day-02: Mandalay-Bagan (B/L/D) (19th Oct 2013)
After breakfast at hotel, Mandalay sightseeing starts
· Maharmyatmuni Pagoda - the most ancient Buddha image
· Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung- monastery with incredible woodcarvings
· Kuthodaw Pagoda-known as the world the biggest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs regarding about the entire Pali Canon of Buddhism.
Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to airport and leave Mandalay to Bagan by domestic flight. After check in at hotel,
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Bagan.
Day-03: Bagan full day sightseeing (B/L/D) (20th Oct 2013)
After breakfast at hotel, begin Bagan full day sightseeing by coach such as
· Nyaung Oo Market- colorful market
· Shwezigon Pagoda- built by king Anawrahtain the early 11th century
· Kyansittha U Min- cave like temple with fresco painting
· Wetkyi-In Gubyaukkyi- a temple with beautiful wall paintings
Lunch at the local restaurant. Then transfer to hotel.
Continue our sightseeing such as
· Gawdawplin Temple - one of the largest and most imposing Bagan temples
· Ananda Temple- with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior
· Dhamma Yan Gyi- the largest of the temple in Bagan
· Shwesandaw Pagoda or Bupaya- sunset watch over the Ayeyarwaddy River.
· Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day-04: Bagan-Heho-Inle Lake (B/L/D) (21th Oct 2013)
After breakfast in hotel, leave Bagan to Heho by domestic flight. Continue drive to Nyaung Shwe.
An excursion by boat on Inle Lake- the second largest lake in Myanmar; famous for their leg rolling style; can see the Intha (local people) traditional fishing style, planting on floating gardens; Silk Weaving Workshops; Silverware Workshops, Cheroot making factory.
Tour highlights include
· Inpawkhone Village - famous for silk weaving workshop, silver workshop
· Ngaphechaung Monastery – located in west of Inle Lake
Lunch at local restaurant.
Dinner and overnight at hotel in Inle.
Day-05: Inle-Phaungdawoo Pagoda Festival (B/L/D) (22th Oct 2013)
After breakfast in hotel, we start our observation by royal barge.
· The reverend Buddha imageshave been towed by small boat from Innphawgone monastery to Yaethar monastery, where the original place of the Buddha is images and is end of the procession.
In the afternoon, we can excite
· the traditional leg rowing competitions of men team and women team along with powerboat racing and prize-giving ceremony.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Inle.
Day-06: Heho-Yangon (B/L/D) (23th Oct 2013)
After breakfast at hotel, leave Heho to Yangon by domestic flight. Visit to
·Chauk Htat Kyi Pagoda- a colossal reclining Buddha.
Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to
·Yangon City Center- surrounded by various colonial style buildings; City Hall; Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument; bustling life of Yangon.
·Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on Mondays)-colonial building where can shop Myanmar souvenirs
· Shwedagon Pagoda- world famous golden stupa; the wonderful holy place of Buddhist’s culture, history, sacred scenery and architecture with golden, jewels
Dinner at Local restaurant.
Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day-07: Yangon Departure (B) (24th Oct 2013)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Yangon International airport for departure.
