Day-01: Yangon Arrival (L/D)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by a tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch, our tour starts

·ChaukHtatKyi- fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67m long

·   Yangon City Center- surrounded by various colonial style buildings; City Hall; MahaBandoola Park with Independence Monument; bustling life of Yangon.

·Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on Mondays)-colonial building where can shop Myanmar souvenirs

Early evening, our sightseeing includes

·   Shwedagon Pagoda- world famous golden stupa; the wonderful holy place of Buddhist’s culture, history, sacred scenery and architecture with golden, jewels

Dinner at

·   Karaweik Palace Restaurant– located on the Royal Lake and enjoy dinner with Myanmar Cultural show

 Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day-02: Yangon-Mandalay (B/L/D)

6^th Oct 2014

Arrive at Mandalay International Airport. Welcome by a tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Upon arrival, drive to Amarapura, a former capital of Myanmar.

Our tour starts

·   Mahagandayone Monastery- the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar; can see thousands of monks had their last meal quietly.

·   U Bein Bridge-the world’s longest wooden bridge, that spans across beautiful TaungThaman Lake.

Lunch at local restaurant and transfer to hotel.

In the early evening, Mandalay sightseeing starts

·   Maharmyatmuni Pagoda -the most ancient Buddha image

·   Shwe Nan DawKyaung- monastery with incredible woodcarvings

·   Kuthodaw Pagoda-known as the world the biggest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs regarding about the entire Pali Canon of Buddhism.

·   Mandalay Hill- watch the sunset; panoramic view of the city.

Dinner at a restaurant. Stay Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day-03: Mandalay – Kyaukse (Elephant Dancing Festival) – Mandalay (B/L/D)

7^th Oct 2014

After breakfast at hotel, drive to

·         Kyak-se Elephant dancing festival, located 42km south of Mandalay to see one of the famous festivals in Myanmar. The occasion take two days and one day before the full moon day of THADINKYUT and on the Full moon day as well, This elephant dance is the festival for the reclining Buddha image in Kyaukse and could be called the activity of the Pagoda Festival.

Lunch at local restaurant and enjoy the festival activities. In the late afternoon, return to Mandalay City, dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day-04: Mandalay -Yangon (B/L/D)

8^th Oct 2014

After breakfast at hotel, leave Mandalay to Yangon by domestic flight.

On the way from airport to hotel, visit to

·The Kaba Aye Pagoda (world peace pagoda) -built for memorial the 1945-46 sixth Buddhist Synod

Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue to

·National museum (closed on Mondays)- main museum of Myanmar Art, history, ancient artifacts, ornaments, inscriptions, paintings, culture, Lion Throne (Thihathana Palin) and civilization of Burmese people.

·   China Town- many crowded food shops, clinics, medical stores, electronic shops camera shops, glass shops, and other religious buildings

Dinner at local restaurant.Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon

Day-05: Yangon Departure (B)

9^th Oct 2014

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Yangon International airport for departure.

OPTION A

Day-03: Mandalay –Sagaing - Ava – Mandalay (B/L/D) (8^th Oct 2014)

After breakfast at hotel, visit to Sagaing Hill, lies other side of Ayeyarwaddy River crossing by Ava Bridge or Sagaing Bridge. Sagaing Hill is well-known for retreat of 700 monasteries where monks or nuns take meditation or study Dhamma.

Our sightseeing starts

·   Kaungmudaw Pagoda- built in AD 1636 by king Thalon to commemorate Ava’s Establishment

·   Soon U Ponnya Shin Pagoda- top of Sagaing Hill, built in AD 1312.

·   Uminthonze Cave Temple- famous for 30 doors of entry.

Then visit to Ava (Inwa). It was built in AD 1364 by King Thatominphya. It is largest capital in Myanmar History for nearly 400 years. It is four times capital of Myanmar Kingdom.

Our tour starts

·   MahaAungmyeBonzan Monastery (a) Me Nu OkeKyaung- brick and stucco monastery built by Nanmadaw Me Nu, the chief queen of King Bagyidaw.

·   BagayaKyaung (a) BameKyaung- supported by 267 teak posts in 1834. The largest teak post is 19m in height and 3m in circumference.

·   NanmyintHmyawzin (NanmyintWatchover)-remnant of the palace built by King Bagyidaw.

Upon finished your sightseeing, enjoy the drive back to Mandalay and visit to

·   Zaycho market, the largest and busiest market in upper Myanmar.

Lunch and Dinner at a restaurant and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

OPTION B

Day-03: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay (B/L/D) (8^th Oct 2014)

After breakfast, transfer to jetty, where you will board a boat towards Mingun. (1 and half hour drive). You will see some local life on the bank of the river.

Upon arrival on Mingun, our sightseeing starts

·Pa HtoDawGyi, the unfinished magnificent Temple

·Mingun Bell, the world’s largest sounding bell,

·  Myatheintan Pagoda which represent the Universe.

·Mingun village; take an oxcart or horse cart to see the ways of local life

Upon finished your sightseeing, enjoy the sail back to Mandalay and visit to

·Zaycho market, the largest and busiest market in upper Myanmar.

Lunch and Dinner at a restaurant and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day-04: Mandalay Departure (B) (9^th Oct 2014)

·   KyansitthaU Min- cave like temple with fresco painting

·   Wetkyi-In Gubyaukkyi- a temple with beautiful wall paintings

Lunch at the local restaurant.Then transfer to hotel.

Continue our sightseeing such as

·   Gawdawplin Temple - one of the largest and most imposing Bagan temples

·   Ananda Temple- with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior

·   Dhamma Yan Gyi- the largest of the temple in Bagan

·   Shwesandaw Pagoda or Bupaya- sunset watch over the Ayeyarwaddy River.

·   Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day-03: Bagan-Heho-Inle Lake(B/L/D)(29^th Sept 2014)

After breakfast in hotel, leave Bagan to Hehoby domestic flight.

On arrival Heho,continue drive to Nyuang Shwe.

Lunch at local restaurant and transfer to hotel.And an excursion by boat on Inle Lake- the second largest lake in Myanmar;  famous for their leg rolling style; can see the Intha (local people) traditional fishing style, planting on floating gardens; Silk Weaving Workshops; Silverware Workshops, Cheroot making factory.

Tour highlights include

·   Inpawkhone Village - famous for silk weaving workshop, silver workshop

·   Ngaphechaung Monastery- located in the west of Inle Lake

Day-04:Inle Boat race(B/L/D) (30^th Sep 2014)

 After breakfast in hotel, enjoy the

·         Traditional Boat Race at about 10:00 am in Nyaung Shwe. The Race is the most famous and largest Race in Inle Lake.

After lunch, visit to

·         theNyaungShwe Market where one can see local trading in their own styles and can buy many local product.

Day-05: Inle -Indein Village-Inle (B/L/D) (1^st Oct 2014)

After breakfast at hotel, an excursion by boat to Indein Village- famous for hundreds of ShweIndein Pagodas, is well-known as “The Dead Ankowatt”, can feel the amazing rural views, the beauty of nature

Sightseeing at

·      Indein Villagewhich is on the western bank of Inlay Lake, NyaungShwetownship in Shan State. According to the stone description, it is known that a small original stupa donated by King SiriDhammaSawka (273-232 BC) was encased in the present pagoda.

Day-06: Inle-Heho-Yangon (B/L/D)(2^nd Oct 2014)

After breakfast at hotel, leave Hehoto Yangonby domestic flight. On the way from airport to hotel, visit to
